WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace, in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. LUKES , in the said County, That
Sarah Bone< no role > Single woman hath
lately come into the parish endeavouring to Settle there,
contrary to law. And it appeareth unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjuge that she is likely to become Charge-
able to the Said Parish; and upon Examination of Jane Bone< no role >
her Mother taken upon oath
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Bushy in the
Countyof Hartford
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said Sarah Bond< no role >
These are therefore in his MAJESTY'S Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE , Forthwith to remove and convey the said
Sarah Bone< no role >
from the said Parish of St. LUKE , to the said Parish of
Bushy and deliver her to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby, required to provide for her
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 23dDay of June1779

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the respective Parishes
of St. LUKE, in the County of MID-
DLESEX, and Bushy in the
County of Hertford
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
