Whereas a Bill of Indictmt. was found at the
General Sessions of the Peace held for the County
of Middx at Hicks hall the four & twentieth day
of February in the Fifth Year of Her Majesties
reign against Richard Rainsford< no role > for Assaulting
& falsely imprisoning John Johnson< no role > Hans Oulson
& Andrew Oulson< no role > and also for extorting from the
said John Johnson< no role > Hans Oulson< no role > & Andrew Oulson the
Sume of forty shillings for their redemption And
Whereas the Said Rainsford hath this day repaid the
Said Sume of forty shillings to the said John Johnson< no role >
Hans Oulson< no role > & Andrew Oulson< no role > and also the further Same
of ten shillings apeice to them for their loss of time and
all their costs & charges of the Prosecution of the said
Indictmt. Whereupon Mr Martin the Attorney for the
prosecutors desired a Cesset process us might be enterd
on the Said Indictmt. These are therefore to authorize &
require you forthwth to enter or cause to be enterd a
Cesset process us on the Said Indictmt. and Stay all
proceedings thereupon till further Order And for So
doing this Shall be Your warrant Dated this
Seventeenth of October 1707.
