WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us whose hands & Seales
are hereunto Sett two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for the sd
County (Quor Unns) by Church Wardens and Overseers of the
poore of the parish of st Clement Danes in the County of the Middx
aforesd that Jane Soan< no role > the widow of John Soan< no role > is
come into the sd parish indeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law
and WHERE as it appears the sd Justices upon due
Examinaton that the sd Jane soan is
become Chargeable to the sd parish and likely see to continue unless
prvented and Whereas it also appears unto the upon the Oath of the
said Jane Soan that her Husband the said John Soan< no role >
was borne in Long [..] Ditch in the parish of St Margaretts Westmr in
the County of Middx aforesd
and that the sd Jane soan hath not Since acquired any other Legall
Settlement else where as wer the sd Justices upon a Strick Examination
comfind Wer doe therefore Deem and Act judge the sd paris the of
St Margarett Westmr in the sd County of Middx to be the place of the last
Legall Settlement of the sd Jane Soan
THESE are there fore her Maties name to will & require you and every or
any of you on Sight here of top ass remove and convey the sd Jane
Soan
from out of the sd parish of St Clement Danes the next and direct way to the sd
parish of St Margaret 's Westmr in the County of Middx aforesaid
and deliver her to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poore there who are
hereby required her to receive and provide for as they doe for other
their poore Given under our hands and Seals the 23 th day of May
