for an Assault

Alexander Cameron< no role > the above named Defendant maketh
Oath and Saith That John Stevenson< no role > A Material Witness for this
Deponent on his Trial upon the above mentd. Indictment without
mis Depont. further Saith That he hath made frequent and diligent
Inquiries after the said John Stevenson< no role > in order to Subpena him as
a Witness in his Behalf on his said Trial And that this Deponent
hath thereupon been Informed and verify believes that said John
Steventon< no role > in now in the County of Durham And this Depont. hope
and believes he shall be able to have the Benefit of his Testimoney
at the next Sessions.
