Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers felonies Trespasses
and other Misdemeanours committed in the same County
Whereas The Right of Hanworth Vere< no role >
Lord Vere Baron
of Hanworth
in
the said County Did at the last General Session of the peace held for this County
Exhibit his petition and Appeal Settingforth That by a rate or assessment made for
the Relief of the poor of the parish of Hanworth
in the said County Intilted "October
"Thirty first One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy Seven At a Vestry then held
"a Rate was made for the Releif of the poor of the parish of Hanworth
at Six pence
"in the pound full Rents". The petitioner stands charged at and after the Yearly value
of Four Hundred pounds which is far beyond what he ought to be Taxed at and
that many of the parishoners of the said parish are therein charged and assessed
at much lower Sums than they ought to be Whereby the petitioner conceived
himself aggreived which said Appeal stood duly adjourned unto this day
Where upon The Right Honourable Vere Lord Vere being called to Support
his said Appeal and not appearing It is Ordered that the said appeal be
and the same is hereby by dismissed
