Wm Gascoigne< no role >

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County
of Middlesex , (whereof one is of the Quorum) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Pancras , in the said County: That Mary Gobby< no role > wife
of John Gobby< no role > (gone from her) and their two Children
Namely George< no role > aged five years and Susanah< no role > aged
three years have
lately come to inhabit in the said Parish of Saint Pancras , not
having gained a legal Settlement there, nor produced any Cer-
tificate, owning them to be settled elsewhere:
And it appeareth unto Us the said Justices, and we do adjudge,
that they are likely to be chargeable to the
said Parish of Saint Pancras; and upon Examination of the said
Mary Gobby< no role >

taken upon Oath, it
farther appeareth unto Us, and we do likewise adjudge, That
the Parish of Saint Ann within the Liberty of
Westminster aforesaid in the said County
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
John Gobby< no role > Mary his Wife and their said
two children
These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to Charge and Com-
mand the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Saint Pancras, forthwith to remove and convey
the said Mary Gobby< no role > and her said two Children

from and out of the said Parish of Saint Pancras to the said
Parish of Saint Ann
and deliver them
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to
some or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for
them according to Law. Given under under Our Hands and
Seals the 6th Day of November One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Seventy Seventy
