WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX (one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. LUKES , in the said County, That
William Oxhart< no role > aged about three years
(the Lawful Son of William Oxhart< no role > and
Sarah< no role > his Wife hath
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle there,
contrary to Law. And it appeareath unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjuge that he is likely to become charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of Mary
Lawson
< no role > taken upon oath,
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Allhallows Lombard Street in the
City of London
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said William
Oxhart

These are therefore in his MAJESTY'S Name to Charge and
Command the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE , forthwith to remove and convey the said
William Oxhart< no role >
from the said Parish of St. LUKE , to the said Parish of
Allhallows Lombard Street and deliver him to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for him
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 17th Day of November 17 77.

To the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the respective Parishes
of St. LUKE , in the County of MID-
DLESEX, and Allhallows
Lombard Street In the City
of London
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
