rest of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in their General
Session Assembled

The Humble Petition of Thomas Rogers< no role >

Sheweth

That your Petitioner has for some time had the honour of being
Employed as Surveyor to the several Buildings which have been carryed on
under the directions of the Gentlemen in the Commission of the Peace for
this County and Presumes to hope that he may alledge without the Imputation
of Variety that his endeavours to give satisfaction have not wholly disappointed
his intention.

That your Petitioner hath surveyed the Work done pursuant to
the last Contract with W Wood at New Prison and the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell to the amount of £2302..3..5¾ whence at a charge of
£5 plent there is due to your Petitioner the Sum of £115..2..2¾

That your Petitioner has made various designs of different parts
of the Work, adjusted the respective Workmen's Bulls and measured and
examined their Work; and attended all the Meetings of the Committee
under whose immediate view and Control the Buildings were made

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays that your
Worships would be pleased to order the said Sum of
£ 115..2..2¾ to be paid him out of your Worships
Treasury or as your Worships shall [..] meet
