MIDDLESEX .


AT the GeneralSession of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall, in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the twenty second
Day of Februaryin the sixteenthYear of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knt.
Six George Booth< no role > Baronet John Sherwood< no role > Davis
Wilmot
< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace
in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas The Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of
Saint George in the said County Have at this present Session exhibited
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by [..] virtue of a pass Warrant or
order under the Hands and Seals of Burford Camper< no role > and John Sherwood< no role >
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the fifteenth day of this Instant
February Hannah Stanley< no role > widow of John Stanley< no role > Deceased was removed
and conveyed from and out of the parish of Saint George as the place of the last
legal Settlement of the said Hannah Stanley< no role > Whereby the Petitioners
Conceived themselves aggrieved Now upon hearing the said Appeal
and what hath been alledged by the respective Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said parishes their Counsel and Witnesses
in and concerning the premises It is ordered that the said Appeal be
and the same is hereby dismissed and the said Pass Warrant or order
of the said two Justices is hereby confirmed and It is further
ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint George Middx do maintain and provide for the
said Hannah Stanley until they can free themselves from
the charge thereof by due course of Law
