The King on the Prosecution of Isaac Philips< no role > and
William Brice< no role >

against
Patrick Burn< no role > (who is indicted with others by the Christian
Same of Thomas< no role > ) for a Riot and violently assaulting the said
Isaac Philips< no role > and William Brice< no role > being Officers of the Customs in
be Execution of their Office

Middlesex to wit


And the said Patrick Burn< no role > the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields Labourer , and who
is Indicted by the Christian Name of Thomas< no role > Cometh hereunto Court in his own proper Person and having
heard the said Indictment read He says that on the time of Baptism unto the time of taking of this
Inquisition of the said Isaac Philips< no role > and William Brice< no role > he hath been and is yet called and known by
the Name of Patrick, without this the He is call Thomas as is the said Indictment he is untrily named
and this He is ready to verify, wherefore heprayJudgement of the said Indictment and that the same
may be quashed Etc.
