Oath and Saith That sometime in or about the Month of
July last he this Deponent together with one John Sarson< no role >
became Bail for the Defendant in this Cause to Appear
and Plead in September Sessions following and This
Deponent further says That instead of Defendants
Appearing he absconded and run Away And has not been
heard off Notwithstanding this Deponent and the other
Bail have made all Inquirys and Diligently Searched
after him but to no purpose whatever and this Deponent
further Says he and the other Bail have prevailed on
the prosecutor to give the Defendant a Generall Release
rather than bring two persons who are the Defendants
Bail into Trouble And lastly this Deponent Says that the
Generall Release hereunto Annexed was obtained from
the said William Gray< no role >
on No other Motive than to save
the said Patrick Burns< no role >
Bail from geting into Further
Trouble and In order to save their recognizances from
being Estreated
