William Watkins< no role > of the Parish of Saint Ann Soho
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
Gentleman maketh Oath and Saith, that he this Deponent,
did at the Instance and request of One Peter Denny in July
Sessions last in Order to Discharge a Recognizance of Sarah
Denny
< no role > the Wife of the said Peter Denny< no role > bound before the Sitting
Magistrates at the Rotation Office in Litchfield Street and
the Bail were to Thomas Thompson< no role > and John Pees to
Answer the Complaint of one Mrs Myers And this
Deponent further Saith, that he made application to Mr
Eyles's Clerk and attended the Court in Order to Discharge the
said Recognizance and on Searching the Book, the Clerk
Answered that there was no such Name as Sarah Denny but
that there was the Name of Mary Bennison< no role > , and the Clerk
Informed this Deponent that the Recognizance was neglected
to be Returned to Hicks's Hall and that he believed it would
be returned to Westminster
