adjournment aforesaid at Hicks Hall aforesaid in and for the said County on the said Thursday
the twenty first day of October in the Year aforesaid before the Justices of our said Lord the King last
abovenamed to which said Quarter Session the hearing and Determination of the said Appeal stood
regularly adjourned It was by the reciprocal desire and respective consents of both and all parties
to the said Petition and Appeal ordered that it shall be andtherewas referred to Saunders Welch< no role >
John Spencer Colepeper< no role > and John Lane Esquires three of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
said County of Middlesex for them or any two of them to consider and examine into the matter and
merits of the said Appeal and report the same unto this Court at the then next General Quarter
Session of the peace to be holden for this County to wit on this present Thursday the thirteenth day of
January and that the said parties and all persons should attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid
on the same day to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the Court touching the said
Appeal. And whereas in pursuance of the said order Saunders Welch< no role > and John Spencer colepeper< no role >
Esquires two of the said Justices and Referrees named in the said order met together and heard
what was alledged on both sides as well by the said petitioners as by the said William Clarke< no role > and their
respective Counsel and examined their several and respective Witnesses upon Oath of and concerning
the Matter and Merits of the said Appeal and have now made their report thereon unto the Justices
of our said Lord the King in this present Session Assembled and it appearing to this Court that the said Account
of the said William Clarke< no role > so appealed against was verified on oath [..] before Philip Dyot< no role > and John Cox< no role >
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace [..] County of Middlesex on the fifth day
of Ju [..] twelfth Year aforesaid and it also appear [..] Court that these now remains
in the hands of the said William Clarke< no role > the sum of twenty seven pounds seven Shillings and
seven pence being Mony received by him as overseer of the poor of the Parish of Saint Giles in the
Fields and not duly accounted for It is thereupon ordered that the said William Clarke< no role > do pay
or cause to be paid unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parishes ofsome or
St Giles in the Fields and St George Bloomsbury or to some or one of them the said Sum of
twenty seven Pounds seven Shillings and seven pence so remaining in his hands as aforesaid
and it is further ordered that the said William Clarke< no role > do pay or cause to be paid unto the said
Appellants Caleb Peacocke< no role > Herbt Homan< no role > Thos Lewis< no role > Richd Remnant< no role > Saml Haworth< no role > Edwd Birch< no role >
Wm Leech< no role > Chas Harris< no role > John Hurst< no role > John Campbell< no role > George Smart< no role > John Bird< no role > Richd Parkes< no role > or to some or one
of them the Sum of twenty pounds for their Cost and charges in prosecuting the said Appeal.
