By adjournment at Hicks Hall
24th. April 1775

It is Ordered that the Treasurer of this County
do pay unto the Clerk of the Peace for this County
the Sum of Two Guineas every Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County in lieu of any
Advantage that he might have a Claim to by
Virtue of an Act of Parliament passed in the fourteenth
Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King
George the Third for or in respect to any Certificate
to be given by him to the Gaoler or Treasurer of
the Acquittal or discharge of any Prisoner under
the said Act until further Order and that the said
Treasurer Do pay unto the Clerk of the Peace
the Sum of Two Guineas for each Session which
hath Elapsed since the passing of the said Act to
the date of this Order and that the Receipts of the
said Clerk of the Peace together with this Order
shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for the Payment of the same
