We the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex whose names are hereunto Subscribed
Do hereby Consent that the Recognizance entered into by Hugh Brady< no role > and
his Sureties on the third day of February last before Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquire
one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County for the personal
Appearance of the said Hugh Brady< no role > at the then next General Quarter Session
of the Peace to be held for the said County to Answer our Complaint for
begetting Fr [..] Hughes Single woman Child of with a Child or Children [..]
She was then Pregnant and which was or were likely to be born a [..]
or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish may be Discharges
it having appeared unto us as well by the Oath of the said Frances
Hughes< no role > taken in writing before Philip Dyot< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County as by other circumstance that
theshe the said Frances Hughes< no role > was not Delivered of the Child or
Children wherewith she was pregnant as aforesaid but that She
Miscarried of the same and is not now pregnant with any Child
or Children whatsoever. Dated the Twenty fifth day of April
in the Year one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy five
