MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks = Hall, in Saint John = Street,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the sixteenth
Day of February in the fifteenthYear of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc. Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight
David Wilmot< no role > John Walford< no role > Sanders Welch< no role > Esquires and
other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned
to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear
and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanours committed in the same County.

Whereas The Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Waltham
Holy Cross in the County of Essex have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by an order of removal under
the Hands and Seals of Burf. Camper< no role > and John Sherwood< no role > Esquires two
of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex bearing
date the 30th day of January last Ann Liptrap< no role > Singlewoman was removed
from and out of the Hamlet of Mile end old Town in the parish of Saint
Dunstans Stepney in the said County of Middlesex To the said parish
of Waltham Holy Cross as the place of her last legal Settlement Whereby
the Petitioners conceived themselves Aggrieved Now upon hearing the said
Petition and Appeal and what hath been alledged by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parishes their Counsel
and Witnesses in and concerning the premises It is ordered that the
said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed and the said order of
removal of the said two Justices is hereby vacated and set aside
and it is further ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the parish of Waltham Holy Cross do forthwith Convey and
deliver back the said Ann Liptrap (together with a Copy of this order)
unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Hamlet of Mile
end old Town or to some or one of them who are hereby required to receive
and provide for the said Ann Liptrap until they can free themselves
from the Charge thereof by due course of Law
