otherwise Fro< no role > for an Asst

Joseph Barber< no role > of White Chapel in the County of Middlesex Coachman
and John Carter< no role > of Petticoate Lane in the said Parish Honier
severally make Oath and Saith and first this Deponent Joseph Barber< no role > that he this deponent was on
Thursday the fifth day of January instant employed by Mr Shutt
of Goodmans Fields to serve or leave a Copy of the Notice hereunto
annexed with [..] Thos Frow the above named Prosecutor
and that he this deponent did the same day go to the Lodging or case
place of abode of the said Thos. Frow and at divers other
places in the neighbourhood in order see the said Thos Frow
and to leave with the [..] Copy of the said Notice hereunto
annexed but not withstanding he this Deponent could not
find the said Thos Frow the said Prosecutor on that day
And this Deponent further saith that he went in guest
of the said Thos Frow the said Prosecutot the next
Morning being Friday the 6 day of the saidInstant
Month of Janry instant and did about eight in the forenoon
of the same day deliver to and leave with the said Thos.
Frow the Prosecutor a true Copy of the sd Notice hereunto annexed a
And the said John Carter< no role > for himself saith that on Friday
last the 6 day of Janry instant he this Deponent and his
brother Edward Carter< no role > being in [..] a Publick House in
Petticoat Lane Thos: Frow the above named Prosecutor
came into the said Publick and sat down near this Dept:
and soon after mentd. to this Depont & his said Brother of
a Notice sent him by the above named Defendt Edd: Mason
but that he did not mind it for that he meaning the
said Thos Frow would laugh at and make fools of them
all on Tuesday next for that he did not mean to
appearall he wanted was to put thesaidMason
