The Petitioning Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Hamlet
of Brentwood in the Parish of South Weald
in the County of Essex

Sheweth

That by an Order of Removal bearing Date
the nineteenth Day of August last under the
Hands and Seals of Sampson Wright< no role > and George
Stubbs< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the said County of Middlesex JosephSmart< no role >
(a Lunatic) with Elizabeth< no role > his Wife were removed
from the Parish of Saint Margaret in the said City
of Westminster to the Parish of Brentwood in the
County of Essex as the Place of the last legal
Settlement of Joseph Smart< no role > and Elizabeth his
Wife by which your Petitioners apprehend
themselves aggrieved

Wherefore your Petitioners
humbly appeal against the said Order
of Removal and pray your Worships to
appoint a Time for hearing the same

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
