Thomas Sheffild< no role > of the Parish of Saint John
of Wapping in the County of Middlesex Chandler
Maketh Oath and Saith that on Wednesday last the
Nineteenth day of October Instant this Deponent did
serve John Herne< no role > one of the Bail for the said Robert
Jackson
< no role > in the above Cause with the Notice hereunto
annexed by delivering to and leaving with the wife
of the said John Herne< no role > at his house in Wapping
Street in the said Parish of Saint John of Wapping
a true Copy of the said Notice which afterwards
came to the Hands and Possession of the said John
Herne
< no role > as he himself since informed this Deponent
And that he this Deponent did on the same Wednesday
go to the House or Place of abode ofthe said John
Lewis
< no role > the other Bail of the said Robert Jackson< no role > in
this matter in order to serve him with the like
Notice hereunto annexed but that he found the said
House was [..] An inhabited and that neither the said
John Lewis< no role > nor any other Person lived in (as this said
Deponent was then informed and beleives) the said
House neither could this Deponent gain any Intelligence
of the said John Lewis< no role > or his Place of Abode so as
to serve him with the said Notice.
