To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the the parish of Saint George in
the County of Middlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Hamlet of Mile
End New Town in the Parish of Saint Dunstans Stebonheath alias Stepney
in the said County

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
acting in and for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid (one whereof being of
the Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint George
That James Shaftor< no role >

lately intruded, and
came into the said Parish of Saint George
and is likely to become chargeable to the same: We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said James [..]
the said parish Hamlet of Mile End New town

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said James Shaftor< no role >

from and out of your said Parish of Saint George
to the said Hamlet of Mile End New town

and him deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
him according to Law: Given under our
Hands and Seals this [..] 4th. Day of July 1774
