Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Paul
Shadwell
in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass or Order of Removal
under the Hands and Seals of

and
Charles Digby< no role >
two of his Majestys Justices of the peace
in and for the said County
of Middlesex
(whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Second day of December 1773 One
Jane Shevels< no role >
Singlewoman
was Removed from the Parish of Saint John of Wapping
in
the County of Middlesex
aforesaid as the place of her last legal
Settlement.
By which said Pass or Order of the said Two
Justices your Petitioners and Appellants Apprehend themselves
aggreived and do Appeal to this Court against the same.
Therefore your Petitioners and Appellants
pray that this Court will appoint a Day next January Sessions
for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint John of Wapping
and all persons concerned to
attend this Court to hear and abide the Judgment and determination
of the Court touching the said Appeal And that your Petitioners
and Appellants may be delieved in the Premises as this Court
shall seem meet.
And your Petitioners and Appellants shall ever pray
