To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter &
Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of Thomas Wood< no role > and Richard
Tayler
< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace Acting in and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Twenty third Day of December One thousand seven
Hundred and seventy three Ann King< no role > singlewoman
was removed from the Parish of Feltham in the
County aforesaid to the said Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden as the Place of her last legal Settlement
Whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved
and do Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court
will be pleased to appoint a Day in this present
Session for the hearing and determining of
the said Appeal And that all parties concerned
may be then directed to Attend.

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
