To the Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Session of the peace at Hicks Hall in the said
County Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke in the
said County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and
Seals of John Sherwood< no role > and Robert Pell< no role > Esquires Two of His Majesty's
Justices of the peace in and for the said County of Middlesex (one whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the 9th. day of November 1773 Eleanor
Morris< no role > Singlewoman and her three Bastard Children Vizt. John < no role > aged
6 Years and upwards Joseph < no role > aged 4 Years and
upwards and Thomas < no role >
aged Nine Months and upwards four [..] were removed and Conveyed from the
Parish of Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Saint Luke as the place of the last legal Settlement of
the said Eleanor Morris< no role > whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves
to be Aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the said Pass Warrant or Order of the said two Justices
and pray Your Worships will please to appoint some day in this
present Session for the hearing and determining the said Appeal
and to Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel and all Persons
concerned do then attend this Court.

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
