receive them till I had
conseltd with Sir John Hawkins< no role > . I therefore
desired the Genl to stay till Inturned. Sir
I: advised me to take them whereupon I re
turned compared them with the Schedule
found them right and gase a receipt
for them as for Mr. Butter. which receipt Mr.
Freeman in whose presence the whole was
transacted witnessed.-The Genl declared
that Mr. Waller was not required by the
Mandamus to deliver them upon Oath
the Clerk of the Court having as he said Omit
-ted to [..] draw up the mandamus rule it that manner
However my receiving [..] what he thus
tendered cannot affect that fact one way
or another.

10th. Wrote last night to Mr. Butler to whom
I communicated the above.
