On the 7th. a gentleman came to the
Office and send he came from Mr. Wallis
who was ready to deliver the Papers in his Custy.
that belongd. to the County if to any proper persons
who might have authority to receive the same
This messages was delivered to Mr. Jos: Cox< no role > and his
him [..] communicated to me. Its I did
not imagine myself a proper person, not being
any way legally authorised, by receive them I went to
Sir John Hawkins< no role > who advised me to write
to Mr. Butler and obtain a proper deputation
to receive them: with this advice I complied
and wrote by the [..] that same evening [..]
Almorith at which place Mr. Butler is being
at so great a distance it is not possible to
obtain by the port an answer under eight
days.-This day between the hours of
11 and 12 in the forenoon the same Yen Dam
again accompand. by a Servant who brought
