WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set,
being two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace, in
and for the County of Middlesex aforesaid [one where
of being of the Quorum] by the Church Wardens or
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Mary
White Chapel , That Thomas Carder who is Sus [..]
& Mary < no role > his Wife and their Child Thomas a< no role > ged Three
Years and upwards
have lately come to inhabit in
the said Parish of St. Mary White Chapel , not having
gained any legal Settlement there, nor produced any
Certificate acknowledging them to be settled elsewhere,
and are likely to become chargeable to the same
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Pre-
mises upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do ad
judge the same to be true, and do also adjudge the
Place of the last Settlement of the said Thomas

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, and
by Virtue of the Statutes in that Behalf to require
