Middlesex
To wit


To the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate , in the said County of Middlesex ;
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of
Saint Mary Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex
and to each and every of them.

UPON the Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate aforesaid, in the said
County of Middlesex , unto us whose Names are hereunto set, and Seals affix'd,
being two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace , acting in and for the said
County of Middlesex ; and one of us of the Quorum, That Mary Fitzgerald< no role > This name instance is in set 766. This set is in the group(s): MothersBA .
Singlewoman is lately

come to inhabit in the said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate , not having
gained a legal Settlement there, nor produced any Certificate owning herself to
be settled elsewhere; and that the said Mary Fitzgerald< no role > is likely to become
chargeable to the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate ; we the said Justices upon due Proof
made thereof, as well upon the Examination of the said Mary Fitzgerald< no role >
upon Oath as otherwise, and likewife upon due Consideration
had of the Premises, do adjudge the same to be true. And we do likewise ad-
judge that the lawful Settlement of the said Mary Fitzgerald< no role >
is in the said Parish of Saint Mary
Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex we do therefore
require you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate , or some, or one of you to convey the
said Mary Fitzgerald< no role >
from and out of the
said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate , to the said Parish of Saint Mary
Whitechapel and her deliver to the Churchwardens and Over-
seers of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this our
Order, or a true Copy thereof, at the same time shewing to them the Original.
And we do also hereby require you the said Church wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the said parish of St Mary Whitechapel
to receive and provide for her. as an Inhabitant of your
[..] an Parish
Given under our Hands and Seals, this FifteenthDay of
[..] December in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred
and Seventy three
