At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the King hold [..]
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in
the said County by adjournment) on Thursday the 30th. day of April
in the twelfth Year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord the Third King of
great Britain Etc Before John Hawkins< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role >
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > John Spencer Colepeper< no role > Esquires &
others there Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to Keep
the peace of our said Lord the King in the County aforesaid and also
to hear and determine divers Fellonies Trespass and other Moderns [..]
committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Andrew Undershaft London Have at this present Session of the
Peace exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of
un Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx (one being of the Quorum)
bearing Date the Eight day of April last Elizabeth Reynolds< no role > Wife of
John Reynolds< no role > who had left her) and her Three Children John Reynolds< no role >
Aged Seven Years Elizabeth Reynolds< no role > aged four Years and upwards and
ann Reynolds< no role > aged Eighteen Months and upwards were removed from
the Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel in the County aforesaid
to the said Parish of Saint Andrew Undershaft London as the Place
of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners conceived them-
selves aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal and what hath
been Alledged on either side by the respective Churchwardens and
Overseers their Council and Witnesses in and concerning the Premisses
It is Ordered that the said Order or Pass Warrant of the said two
Justices be and the same is hereby Confirmed And it is further
Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Andrew Undershaft London aforesaid do maintain
and Provide for the said Poor Woman and her Three Children until
they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law
