Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace four Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
in the said County (by adjournment) on Thursday the Thirtyeth-day
of Aprilin the Twelfth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third KIng of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Hornsey
in the County of Middlesex Have at this present Session of the Peace exhibited
their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of John GoodChild< no role > and Charles Marsh< no role > Esquries two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
Seventeenth day of March last Sarah Morris< no role > Wife of James Morris< no role > (gone
from her) and their Child (to wit) John< no role > aged two Years and upwards were removed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Hornsey as the place
of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners thought them selves aggrieved
which said appeal stood Adjourned unto this day do stand further Adjourned at the request of the Petitioners until the next
General Session of the Peace to be held for this County and that on Notice
hereof in the mean time to be given to the Respondents they and all Persons
concerned do attend the County at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Thursday the fourth
day of June next at Eight of the Clock in the forenoon of the same day to hear
and abide the Judgment and determination of the said Court touching the said
Appeal
