At the next General Session of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hickshall in Saint John
Street in the same County (by adjournment) on Thursday the fifth day
of December in the Twelfth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc. Before John Hawkins< no role >
Benjamin Cowley< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Saunders Welch< no role > Esqrs.
and others their fellow Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to
keep the Peace of our said Lord the King within the said County And
also to hear and Determine Divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanors Committed in the said County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint-Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex Did at the General Session of the Peace held for this County in the Month of
September last Exhibit their Petition and Appeal settingforth that by
Virtue of an Order under the Hands and Seals of William Kilynge< no role > and
George Stubbs< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the City and Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Tenth day of September
last Sarah Wright< no role > Singlewoman aged Thirteen Years and upwards was
removed from the Parish of Saint Margaret in the City of Westminster to the Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields aforesaid as the place of her last legal Settlement
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Which said
appeal was duly Adjourned unto this Day Now upon hearing of the
said Appeal and what hath been alledged on either side by the respective
Churchwardens and Overseers their Council and Witnesses in and concerning
the Premisses It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is
hereby allowed And the said Order of the said two Justices is hereby
Vacated and set aside And it is further Ordered that the Church wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
Do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said Sarah Wright< no role > (together
with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster or to some or
one of them who are hereby required to receive & and provide for her
untilll they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due
Course of Law
