At the GeneralSession of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for
the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said
County (by Adjournment) on Thursday-the Twelfthday of
Septemberin the Eleventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish
of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said County Have at this present
Exhibited their Petition and Appeal setting forth That by virtue of a
Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of Cadwallader
Coker
< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esqrs. two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Twenty first day of August last Mary Vaughan< no role > Singlewoman
was removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint
Luke in the said County to the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields as the place
of the last legal Settlement of the said Mary Vaughan< no role > Whereby the Petitioners
Conceived themselves to be aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said
Petitioners It is Ordered that the benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto
them And that the hearing and determination thereof be and the same is hereby
Adjourned until the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for
this County And that on Notice hereof to be given in the mean time to the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Luke they and
all persons concerned do attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Thursday
the Twenty fourth day of October next at Nine of the Clock in the forenoon of
the same day to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the said
Court touching the said Appeal.
