Patrick Fox< no role > the Deft. in this Cause and Charles Wade Doyle< no role > Severally
make Oath and Say And First this Deponent Patrick Fox< no role > Saith That
he this Deponent is not worth Ten shillings in the world and that he has a
Wife and [..] two Small helpless Children the [..] of whom [..]
Eight years old wholly dependant on this Deponents daily Labour as a
Bricklayers Labourer and that this Deponent has neither House nor Furniture
whatsoever, And Saith That his having been Impressed into his Majestys
Service in December Last Together with this Prosecution has been the
Total Ruin of this Deponent So that he is wholly unable to raise or
pay any Sum of money whatsoever And this Deponent Charles Wade
Doyle< no role > for himself Saith That he did on the first and Second day of July
Instant in Charity and Compassion to the distressed Circumstances and
Situation of the Defendant his Wife and Family ofter to pay to the
Prosecutrix andMr. Davis the Prosecutrix [..] Attorney the Sum of [..] three Guineas
of his own proper moneys in Satisfaction of this Cause in order to
procure the said Defendant his Liberty which he refused to accept And
this Deponent Saith he is will acquainted with the said Defendants
Circumstances and verily believes he is not worth Ten Shillings in
the World And Saith That if the said Defendant is Restrained
his Liberty, That he together with his Wife and Children must
Inevitably parish for want of the Common necessarys and be
reduced to the Lowest [..] of Misery and want And their
Deponent Patrick Fox< no role > for himself further Saith That unless
this Honourable shall be pleased to Change the Sentence
pronounced against him, The Same will amount to Porpetual
Imprisonment of this Deponent, he this Deponent not being
