The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Andrew
in the City of Canterbury
Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for
the County of Middlesex
(one being of the Quorum) bearing Date
the Eighth day of December last Constance Obree was
removed from the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch
in the
said County of Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Andrew The
said Justices thereby Adjudging that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said
Constance Obree< no role >
was in the said parish
of Saint Andrew
That your Petitioners Conceive themselves aggrieved
by the said Order and Judgment of the said Justices And do humbly
Appeal therefrom
Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray that
your Worships would be pleased to appoint someday
in this present Session to hear this their Appeal and
to make an Order that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch
and all Parties concerned in and about the
Premisses may then and there hear and abide the
Determinations of your Worships therein
And your Petitioners shall ever Pray etc.
