To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Sessions of the Peace
Assembled

The humble petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Parish of shenley [..] in the County of Hertford.

Sheweth


That by an outer under the Hands and Seals of Stephen Clarke< no role > and
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqrs. Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for there
County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Late the Tenth
Day of December last past Ann Dances< no role > Widow of John Dances< no role > deceased together
with her Five Children namely, Mary< no role > aged Eleven years, Rebecca< no role > Aged Six Years
and upwards John< no role > Aged near Five Years Francis< no role > Aged Two Years and upwards
and Joseph< no role > Aged Nine Months were removed from the Parish of Saint Pancrass
in the said County of Middlesex to the sd. Parish of Shenley by the Disruption of his parish of Shenley Hill in the said County of
Hertford as the last legal Settlement of the said Ann Dancer< no role > and of her said Five
Children Mary Rebecca, John Francis and Joseph whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be aggrieved and against the said Order do appeal

Your Petitioners thereof one humbly Pray, That a
Day may be appointed the next Sessions to hear
and determine the Matter touching the said
Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray
