Sheweth
That your Petitioner was by Indenture
bearing
bearing Date on or about the Year One Thousand Seven
hundred and Sixty Seven Bound an Apprentice
to the
said
Thomas Gibbs< no role >
for the Term of Seven Years from
the Date of the said Indenture
That Your Petitioners said Master received the
Sum of Ten pounds of and from the Society of Quakers
as a Consideration Fee That your Petitioners Master
has Obtained the Counterpart of Petitioners
Indenture from him
That your Petitioners Master has for Several
Months last Past Beat him with any was reasonable
Provocation given by your Petitioner
That on or about the Third Day of October
Instant Your Petitioners Master turned him out of
his House and would not receive Your Petitioner
any more nor give him any of his Cloaths altho'
Several Applications has been made to him a
great many times and over to this Day
