Sarah Read< no role > of Normans Court Spinster Saith She was
Standing at her Door last Tuesday see night when the Quarrell
was between the Deceased and GreenThat it
began about an HandkerchiefThat the Deceased told
him it was a black guard Action that he did not fetch an
Handkerchief out which he had Pawn'dThat the
Handkerchief belonged to One Squire Odham< no role > a Taylor
That Odham was there And Green went to Strike him
And the Deceased tryed to Save him Upon which Green
Struck her on the side of the Throat and Knock'd her down
That this was in the Court close by the Deceaseds Door
That then She got up againAnd Green walked
backwards and forwards in the Court and during that
time the Deceased threw some Water on him
After this Green [..] Attempted to go into the Deceased
Room and She Struck him with a Pewter Quart Pot
three times twice Over his Arm and Once over his Eye
That then he Clap'd his Hand to his Eye and Looked in
his Hand and saw some Blood And then he went
to his Own House but did not Stay at all
Only went in and Came out again And then went
into Mrs. Conninghams at next Door
That he had nothing in his Hand when he went in
thereThat he stan'd there only Two or three
Minutes And then Came Out againThat Mrs.
Conninghams Door faces the Deceaseds and as soon
