Victualler Hath at this Present Session Exhibited
his Petition and Appeal Setting for the that he was on or about the sixth day of
August last Convicted before Thomas Kynaston< no role >
Esquire one of his Majesty's [..]
of the peace for the said County for knowingly suffering Gaming in his Grounds
there situate, by Journey men particularly by one Thomas Herbert< no role >
a Journey man
Chaser and other Journey men against the form of the statute and he was thereupon
Adjudged to pay and forfeit for the same the sum of Forty shillings Whereby the
Petitioner conceived himself greatly Aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said
Petitioner It is Ordered that the benefit of his said Appeal be saved unto him and
that the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby Adjourned
until the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be held for this County
And that on Notice hereof to be given to informer in the mean time that he and all
persons conceived to attend the Court at Hick's Hall
aforesaid on Thursday
the Twentieth [..] day of October next at nine of the Clock in the forenoon of the
same day-to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the said
Court touching the premisess
