That on Tuesday night last, be botroixt 9 and 10 o'Clock
this Dept in returning from his Mother's House, called
in at a Publick House, called the two Sawyers, &
there ashed for a Penny worth of Beer, wch was bro't

with 2 Persons who Lodge in the Same House, Ward
then had a Pot of Beer in his hand and Within a Few
Minutes after, Edward Harman< no role > and William Langford< no role >
Since dead Came into the House and one of them called
for a Pot of Beer, Wch the Woman of the House refused
to draw, whereupon they lost the House, without
having any Conversation whatever with the Said Ward
or this Depont, That as Soon as they were gone the
Said Ward asked this Deponent if he would go home;
they both lodging in the same house, and they both
went out together, and going a long a Causeway next
the Righway at Some little distance from and then
they Saw the Said Harnam of the Edward before of them and then
the Said Ward Sayel to this Depont. See how he

been & overtook him and Kicked up Wards Hools
near the Said Mr. Lacdy's Stables, and this Deponent

Servants, and [..] just as he was outring
the Gate he Saw the Said Ward run Past, and
the Sd. Harnam and the deceased running after him
