To the Worshipsfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall
Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within
the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and
Seals of Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight and Paul Naliant< no role > Esquire two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of
Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the twenty fifth day of September last Elizabeth Spence< no role >
Singlewoman was removed and conveyed from the Parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the Liberty of Westminster
to the said Parish of Saint gnne as the place of her last
legal Settlement Where by Your Petitioners conceive them
selves to the Aggrieved

Therefore they humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and
the said Order And Pray that the Benefit of the
said Appeal may be saved to Your Petitioners
and that the hearing and determining thereof may
be Adjourned to the next General Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County
