To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex at their General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace in and for the said County at Hicks. Hall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of Richard Holditch< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Mary Stratford Le Bow in the said County of Middlesex Starchmaker

Sheweth


That your Petitioner by virtue of a Summons from Christopher Seek< no role > Esquires one of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex was concerned before him
the said Christopher Scott< no role > Esquire and was (as your Petitioner is informed and believes) or
the twenty third day of February last convicted by him of having a Cart traveling on the
Turnpike read leading from Whitechapel to Bow in the said County of Middlesex loaded with
morethan twelve sacks of meal and having Wheels shod or bound with two or streaks of iron
and being drawn with three horses contrary to the Statute in that behalf by which conviction
your Petitioner was adjudged to have forfeited one of the horses with his Geers and
Accountrements so drawing the said Cart.

That your Petitioner humbly conceiving himself aggrived by such conviction
doth Appeal therefrom to your Worships in Sessions aforesaid.

Your Petitioner and Apellant therefore humbly
Prays your Worships to appoint a day in this present
Sessions to hear and determine he said Appeal.

And your Petitioner Will ever Prayes.
