Saith she Lives at Mrs. Stevens's and hath known she deceased about three Months
That the Deceased was about Ten Years old and was Apprentice to
Mrs. CollinsThat about a Month ago Informant was in
Mrs. Stevens's Washouse on a Fridayabout a Month agoAnd the
Deceased was in Collins's Washouse Squeering a Mop
That it was about Nine o'Clock in the Morning And Collin's Came in
to the Washouse and Ask'd her why she had not Lighted the Fire
That the Child Answered she AndThat then Collins took
the Handle of the Mop and gave the Deceased Two Blows
That she held the Deceased with One hand and gave the Blows
with the Other And then Collins Dragg'd her into the House
That after she was in the House Informant heard several
Blows given And heard the Deceased Cry out Oh my Head"
very much And Say Pray for give me And I'll not do so anymore
That she hath heard the Deceased Cry a great many times
But never saw any Blows given other than those two before
mend.That Informant was in Stevens's Shop
Two Stories high last Saturday was Se night when there were
some Men Shooting off a Gun in Collins's Yard
That between Ten and Eleven a Gun was several times fired
there And just before the Report of the Gun Informant heard
the Child Cry several times And Mrs. Collins Laughed very much
And she heard the Child Cry after they had done Shooting But
Informant heard no Conversation amongst them at all
That between Eleven and Twelve that Night Informant
heard the Pail Rattle in the Yard And heard the Child Cry out
But heard or saw no Blow givenThat the last time
Informant saw the Deceased was last Monday was senight
But she only saw her Pass along the Yard and did not see any
Marks of Violence about herAnd says she never had any-
Conversation with her Except two or three times Informant
