Collin's for Two Months pastThat he was the Person
that Fired of the Gun in Collins's Garden last Saturday was
fortnightThat he fired it four times in Order to frighten
the People from Robbing her because she had been Robbd a
short time beforeThat he hath several times seen
Collins Beat the Deceased with a Rat Tan And hath Often heard
her Cry outThat she would Cry out sometimes when she
was not BeatThat he [..] generally saw the
Deceased every DayThat Friday last about the middle of
the Day he saw her in her Mistresses Kitchen and her Hand
Appeared to be Swell'd And Informant Askd her what was the Matter with it
And she Answer'd that she had fallen between the Bedsteads and
hurt itThat Saturday Morning (the next day) Mrs. Collins
said the Girls Hand Swelled more and more and Desired
Informant to get her a Pennyworth of Gelly to Bathe it
That he went outabout Eightbetween Nine and Ten and got it
That he did not see the Deceased at all that day
Nor did he hear of any Beating or Crying out that Morning
at all End he never saw her at all after Friday last
That he don't know when she Died nor did he know
she was dead till the Mob was about the Door Yesterday
That Thursday she secur'd not wellThat Friday
Morning Informant saw Mrs. Collin's give the Deceased a large Plate of
Victualls [..] all of which Informant Believes she Eat
And she stood to Washing on Friday
