WHEREAS Complaint has been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
Mary Islington
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County aforesaid,
That

Hath
lately intruded herself into your Parish of Saint Mary
Islington
there to inhabit as Your Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become Charge-
able, if not timely prevented. And Whereas, upon due Examination
and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath and other
Circumstances
it appear unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Elizabeth Minnis< no role >
Widow is
like to become Chargeable unto the said Parish of St. Mary
Islington
and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said
Elizabeth Minnis< no role >
Widow is in the said
Parish of
Saint James
in Westminster
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Mary Islington
aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forwith remove and convey the said Elizabeth
Minnis< no role >
Widow
from your said Parish of Saint Mary
Islington
to the said
Parish of St. James
in Westminster
and Her deliver
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one
of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true Copy
thereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's Name
And by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to receive the
said Elizabeth Minnis< no role >

into their said Parish and provide for Her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals the
