abt. 3 yrs. she was the Person in the Box nearest the deced & his
Compa. says he know the several Persons by their Voices &
by severaly Answg. to their Name That last Sunday was 3 Weeks
the 18th. of Augt. being drowsy by sitting up late the Night before
he want to Bad betwn. 2 & 3 in the afternoon the House then Empty
his Family excepted That abt. 9 at Night his little Boy or Maid called
& desired him to Get up for there was going to be a Fight in the House
he Got up & as he was coming down stairs he heard the Voices of
Thos. Bradley< no role > as in a Passion & very loud but could not then distinguish
the Words being directed by the Voice he want to him & took him
round the Neck & sd. to him Tom if you offer to Fight in my
House as you have been in disputes before now, or offer to Strike any
man I will send for a Constable & accordingly did so but none was
to be found That Tom Bradley< no role > sd. Mar. I will not Fight or brest
any Riot in yr. House Pray let me Go out The deced Endeavor'd to
Strike at Bradley as the Witness had hold of him is certain it
was the deced by his voice & that having hold of Bradley he would
not loose nor did he attempt to Get away Says That being between them
both his caught the deced Blow on his right Arm & sd. to the decd.
