As to the Common Side ?

a Comon car out of
the prisons


Common Side not so light as Masterside
obliged to burn Links & Burners to go up
and down the Hair cases.

Whether all over the Felons Side it is
not the Same ?

Yesobliged to Use Burners & Links
all the day long except the press Yard there's
a little Light in one stair Case.

Is there any place in the Gaol where the
Felons & Debtors may Air themselves ?

No- In the press Yard there is a place
about Six Look wide & 40 Took longIt
persons pay they may go into rooms in press
Yards there are about 16 or 17 Rooms.

How many will those Rooms hold.?

3 or 4 in a Room if fitted up with
Barracks.

Are all the Apartments on the Felons Side
kept full ?

be Room for all Your Prisoners ?

They are all fitted up and ready for the
Reception of Prisoners I never had so many
but what there was Room sufft. But when there
is a great Number the Gaol is always seekly.
- I mean Sickly from the Smallness of the
space of Ground the Want of an Area & free
Circulation of Air.

If the prisoners were distributed in those
16 or 17 Rooms in the press Yard as Well as
other parts of the Gaol would they be so
Sickly ?
