& London Debtors ?

I believe it will amount from 15 & 20 to
one.

What's the Overage the Year thought upon
the whole prisoners ?

Middlesex 3 & 4 to one of London.

Don't the City make the keeper a Compensation
in Law of Fees & what ?

City allows £200 Salary.

Do you remember Putting up the Ventilator ?

Yes- I believe in 1753.

What happened to the Workmen who put it up ?

ill & dying-they found foul Air- My Servts.
& Neighbours have given me the same Account
ever since from Time to time.

when Habeas Corpus is dircted to the
Sheriff of London they are placed to London
side & when to the Sheriff of Middlesex to
the Middlesex side

Are prisoners from all parts of the Kingdom
included in that AccountYes
