We whose Names are hereunder written Master Taylors residing within that Part of the
County of Middlesex which is within the Bills of Mortality most humbly beg leave to
Certify that we have maturely weighed considered and examined into the Allegations of
the within Petition and are convinced that the Same are true And we are willing and
desirous to consent to the Prayer thereof And we do most humbly conceive that the limitting
the Hours of work from Six in the Morning to Seven in the Evening will conduce greatly to
the Publick, Service as well, as to the Felicity and Satisfaction of both Masters and
Journeymen in the same Trade Dated this Sixteenthday of April One thousand
Seven hundred and Sixty four..
