Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square
in the County of Middlesex
Have Exhibited their Petition and
appeal to this Court Setingforth That by Virtue and in pursuance of a Pass Warrant
or Order under the hands and Seals of Wm. Pickering< no role >
and Wm. Spinnage< no role >
Esqrs. Two of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing date the 6th. day of April 1764 Francis Clarke< no role >
was removed
from the Parish of Kensington
in the County of Middlesex
to the Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster
in the said County as
the Place of his last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners think themselves
Aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal in the presence and hearing of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Kensington
and
they consenting by their Council to the Allowing of the said Appeal It is Ordered
by this Court that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby Allowed and the said
Warrant or Order is hereby Vacated and discharged And it is further Order that
the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint
George Hanover Square
or some or one of them Do forthwith Convey and Deliver
back the said Francis Clarke< no role >
(together with a Copy of this Order) to the Church
wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Kensington
who are
hereby required to receive and provide for him until they can Free themselves
from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
