The Examination of Joseph Chamber< no role > taken the London Hospitl
in the presences of John Turtle< no role > [..] taken before Robert pell< no role > Esqr one
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middlesex
who says upon his Oath that this Morning about one of the Clock
going home from the Alehouse where here he had spend three pence half
peney homett with the prisoner Turble with whom do had some
words about a Women with whom the prisoner Lives and Calls his Wife
that he the said Turtle went into his own house as he believes to fetch a
prise and upon his County and he the said Chambers Strath Turtle
with his open hand upon the side of his Head upon which he
Immediately Struck him upon the Breast which blow upon the
Immediate Effusion of Blood he found to be given by a knife that he the sd
Turtle Repeated the starts in several parts of his body and Thighs
upon which he endeavoned to get a way and was pursued by the
said Turtle several Yard till the Neighborhood being allarmed &
the Constable called who Took the [..] said Turtle into Custody
