The Information of John Brussins< no role >
taken before us three of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the said County this 1st. day
of May 1764

Who being an Oath saith that an Easter Sunday he was sent for
by Mary Hargrave< no role > to take proper Care of Ann Davis< no role > and this
Informant went to the Bull and Butcher in Brown's Gardens where
the said Ann Davis< no role > lay and found her dangerously Ill and the
said Mary Hargrave< no role > desired this Informant to do every thing in
his power for her but this Informant judging she might require
further adaise than his recommended her to be sent to an Hospital
and saith that he was not at that time acquainted with any
particular Injuries that the said Ann Davis< no role > had received but an
the next day this Informt. was again sent for by the sd. May Hargrave< no role >
who then told him that she had given the Unhappy Woman a
Blow an the Head with a Poker or words to that effect and this
Informant the next day laid on a Blister but to no effect for she
died that night
